Agree the inspection plan early
State the agreed sampling standard, inspection level and acceptance limits in the purchase order. Plan initial, inline and final inspection according to order risk. Critical safety defects have zero tolerance in the SmartApparel workflow.
Hold failed inspections
An independent inspector records defects, photographs, measurements and corrective action. A failed inspection creates a hold and reinspection requirement. Production updates or commercial pressure do not substitute for a pass and required test evidence.
Reconcile the document set
Final inspection, required test records and complete shipment documentation are release gates. Exporters prepare commercial documents, brokers validate the actual route and authorised issuers handle certificates. Draft forms do not become official certificates through a website.
